Autumn in New York, Part 3: Soft Shapes, Sharp Angles

Part 1: Fiction (With only Daylight Between Us)

Instead of blogging about Miami, I’m showing you what I’ve been seeing in New York this fall. This is the third installment in my Autumn in New York series and, inscialla, there will be about five more. I’ve organized the images into groupings that make visual sense to me. We start with the organic geometry of Suzan Frecon and then get more hard edged as we travel about Chelsea, Tribeca, Williamsburg, the Lower East Side, and Midtown. Oh, and there are some juicy blue paintings by Ad Reinhardt (who knew?). I'm keeping commentary to a minimum in favor of images.
